But first, some tips to organize your sheet. Each row represents a single task. Create columns for each detail you want to track, like assignee, due date, or description. Columns for things like priority or progress can be turned into custom fields in Asana.
If you're coming from a different tool, export those projects to CSV and follow along. Here's how to import the spreadsheet: Create a new project and select "import spreadsheet. " You can also import it to an existing project from the import menu in the project settings. Voila! Just like a spreadsheet, you can filter and sort your project.
But unlike a spreadsheet, your new Asana project stays current as your team completes and works on tasks.
